Volunteer Opportunities |
The Westborough Community Land Trust invites you to share your talents and enthusiasm, while meeting those who share your interests. Listed below are some of our major volunteer opportunities. Please contact us if you'd like to receive more information (time commitment, specific needs, etc) or to volunteer!

Trail Patrol/Adopter: Walk the trail every 3 or 4 weeks, trim bushes and overhanging branches; report fallen trees; send in brief e-mail report to the Stewardship Committee each time you walk the trail.
Trail Creation and Maintenance: Join a work crew on a workday to blaze or clear trails of debris, invasive species, and windfalls. (3 hours)

Hike leader: Lead a family-friendly hike to explore a local trail (2 hours)
Environmental educator: help with outdoor/environmental education programs with school groups. (4-6 hours per semester)
Program speaker: share your unique knowledge of nature or environmental issues. (2 hours)
Scout badge liaison: assist with outdoor/nature requirements for badges. (2-3 hours per badge)

WCLT information tables greeters (2 hours per event)
