Orchard Swamp Reservation – 26.6 Acres

This reservation is at present 3 parcels, given to WCLT all in Orchard Swamp

• Hero Property – 6 Acres -

  This is a beautiful upland in the center of Orchard Swamp, given to WCLT by the Hero family

• East Point Reality Property – 14.8 Acres -

  This property is part of WCLT's efforts to protect Orchard Swamp. This parcel is open space given from the development of the Extended Stay America Hotel on East Main Street.

• Guzzi Property – 6 Acres -

  This is a part Orchard Swamp adjacent to the towns parking lot for the Chauncy Beach, given to WCLT by the David Guzzi

Upper Jackstraw Brook Reservation – 66.8 Acres

This reservation is at present 4 parcels, given to WCLT along the headwaters of Jackstraw Brook

• Gilmore Pond Parcel – 12.9 Acres -

  This is a historic pond in Westborough that WCLT working with the Westborough Civic Club to improve the area and turn it into a park. The property was given to WCLT as part of the Orchard Hill development

• Orchard Hill Parcel – 22.3 Acres –

  This is a beautiful woodland extending from Gilmore Farm Road out to Ruggles Street given to WCLT as part of the Orchard Hill development

• Pheasant Hill Parcel – 19.6 Acres –

  This parcel was given to WCLT as part of the Pheasant Hill development. It is a woodland with the southern branch of Jackstraw Brook running through it.

• Valley View North Parcel – 13 Acres –

  This parcel with no trails protects the brook after it crosses Ruggles Street. This land was given to WCLT as part of the Valley View Estates development.

Hidden Meadow Parcel – 16.2 Acres

This property is adjacent to the western portion of the Bowman Conservation Area. In 2006 and 2007 WCLT restored the meadow in the middle of the woods. The land was given to WCLT as part of the Valley View Estates development.

Oak Bluffs Parcel – 19.9 Acres

This is a piece of beautiful shoreline along the Assabet River. This property was given as open space from the Oak Bluffs development

Indian Pond Region – 26.2 Acres

This reservation is at present 3 parcels, given to WCLT along the Assabet River.

• Matthews Parcel – 10 Acres -

  This is a piece of shoreline along the Assabet River. The parcel was given by the Matthews family to WCLT

• Lydia’s Path Parcel – 1.8 Acres –

  This is parcel connects the river to to Maynard Street. It was given to WCLT as part of the Lydia’s Path subdivision.

• Indian Pond Parcel – 14.4 Acres –

  This parcel was part of the Indian Pond Subdivision. WCLT worked with the homeowners association to transfer the land to produce a contiguous open space out of the three properties.

Peairs Property – 2.5 Acres

This property is adjacent to the 200 acres of the combined Town of Westborough Libbey Property and New England Forestry Foundation Wile Forest.

North Shore Trail Right of Way – 1 Acre

This is two tiny parcels one given by Millie Coyne and the other by Ellen Gugel and Steve Munden that protect the trail on the North Shore of Mill Pond.
